Tornado V2 represents the first release of a new generation of Titan Dynamics aircraft. Built with a focus on toolless assembly and usability, the Tornado V2 features removable wings with telescoping spars and wing connectors that make field assembly a breeze, no longer requiring fussing with wiring in the fuselage. The hatch is also toolless, featuring a printed compliant mechanism latch making it easy to remove and reinstall. To increase longevity and prevent damage from landing on rough surfaces, both small TPU skids and a larger “mega skid” covering the entire bottom is included. Battery placement no longer requires guesswork, with the use of an adjustable battery stopper so you can place the battery exactly where it hits CG every time. From an aerodynamic perspective, the Tornado V2 features lowered interference drag with smooth wing/stab to fuselage joins and improved printability on the trailing edges to lower excrescence drag. Mounting points for antennae, receivers, VTX’s and other accessories have been sprinkled throughout the fuselage and wing making it ultra-compatible with any electronics you choose to use. Just like V1, V2 is designed for high-speed fun, with the same locked-in point-and-shoot flying characteristics. We encourage you to build it exactly the way you want and have as much fun with it as possible.
The Titan Quark is a modular 5-inch quad featuring a single-print frame. It started as an experimental endeavor, designed to defeat the structural shortcomings of additive manufacturing. The Quark can be printed as light as 72g while maintaining stable flight characteristics. The chassis itself fits on an Ender 3 bed (220x220mm) and features a symmetric shape with mountable accessories such as the FPV camera, GPS and VTX antenna. The Quark was tested and tuned in the hands of a professional drone racing pilot. A 30min+ flight time is easily achieved with a 4S1P 21700 battery, while a 1500-2000mah 4S Lipo makes it ready to party. Please find below additional images, videos, instructions and parameters to aid in the build process.
Introducing the Titan Hornet, a 1.1m wingspan tiltrotor VTOL designed for fun flying at a medium/small scale. Hornet has been specially sculpted in CFD and obsessively lightened, while maintaining great structural rigidity. The wings and tail are fully removable for ease of transport. It features large wing bays for mounting the VTX/RX with maximum antenna separation. All control surfaces feature nearly 0 gap with rounded leading edges that are sunk into the wings/stabs, and all servos and motors are serviceable. Big thanks to Rex Alba for testing the Hornet alongside us!
The Titan Talon is known to be the world’s first 3D printable UAV focused on maximizing range, efficiency, and endurance. The original Titan Talon was the first model we publicly released as our gift to the community and we are happy to now present an updated version with a slew of upgrades to the original:
40mm more wingspan
Removable canopy
Expanded hatch rotation angle - such that it stays open
Flat fuselage floor with integrated battery strap slot
Integrated support built into the fuselage floor
All new vtail with serviceable servos
Updated attachments for control surface linkages
Flush mounted aileron servos
Optional airspeed sensor mount + optional antenna mounts
More streamlined motor mount
Significantly improved rigidity of the wing and vtail
Fully supportless printing
Additional features: Removable wings, large inner space for batteries, efficiency of 62mah/km (on 4S) which is 25% more efficient than most foam Mini Talon builds.
